Olive Garden Bread Sticks - Super Simple Recipe

I tried this very easy bread stick recipe yesterday. We had plain spaghetti last night and these went with it beautifully. They were a little different than those at olive garden, but still very tasty. I think the next time I'm leaving the oregano out.

Olive Garden Breadsticks
  • 1 Loaf frozen bread dough
  • Nonstick Cooking Spray
  • Garlic powder
  • Dry oregano leaf
Let the bread dough thaw in a large bowl. When dough is soft enough to knead, work it with your fingers until it is pretty pliable. Form it into about 10 small breadsticks. Put them on a greased cookie sheet (non-stick cooking spray works well for this), then cover them with a clean kitchen towel and allow them to rise for about 2 hours.

Preheat your oven to 375. Spray the bread sticks with a little cooking spray, then sprinkle the garlic powder and oregano on them. Bake them for about 25 minutes or until they are golden brown. Serve warm.

Mine looked almost as pretty as the ones in this picture. I wish I snapped a few shots of them, but my family gobbled them up before I had a chance to even think about taking pictures.
